FAQs
How much does it cost?
The range for the front of average sized homes in our area typically run between $3,500 and $5,000.
Are they HOA approved?
Typically. We have installed on many homes within an HOA and have received approval for our lights. For approval, it is best to describe Trimlight as “Architectural Downlighting,” as they can be customized to accent your home similar to traditional uplighting or security lighting.
Will this make my electric bill go up?
Each standard Trimlight diode (bulb) is only .6W. That means that 100 lights are the equivalent to a single 60W lightbulb. Trimlight is based on a 12V system. The short answer is no, you should not notice a substantial increase.
What happens if something happens to my lights?
Please call or text us at the office to help you troubleshoot. If we aren’t able to fix it with you over the phone, we will schedule a technician to come out for a repair.
How many colors of track are there?
We have 65 colors of track that can be found in a sample book for us to help match best to your home for an invisible look on your home.
How do I learn how to use the system?
Once your installation is complete, a representative from our office will meet with you to help program your home, show you around the app, and help you on your way of scheduling your year of lights from daily settings to holiday extravagance.
What does it mean if I have a blue light or my lights aren't showing the color that I have programmed?
This is likely a data connection issue. Please take note if you have had a recent lightning strike or brownout at or near your home. It will be the first question we are going to ask. Call or text us at 919.589.7422 and we’ll get you fixed up right away!
